**As Providence Health Care prepares for the opening of the New St. Paul's Hospital, some aspects of this position may evolve during the transition period. While the overall nature of the role is expected to remain substantially the same, operational requirements may result in adjustments to scheduling, FTE, unit assignment, site or other operational details.**
We have 4 Regular Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, Cook positions.
Rotation: Days, Evenings, Rotating.
Hours: Various (between 6:00 - 19:30)
Worksites: St. Paul's and New St. Paul's Hospital
We have 1 Regular Part-Time, 0.95 FTE, Cook position.
Rotation: Rotating
Hours: Monday - Tuesday 1000-1800, Thursday - Friday, 0600-1400, Saturday 0630-1430, Sunday 0730-1530
Worksites: St. Paul's and New St. Paul's Hospital

As a Cook, you will report directly to the Food Services Manager and be responsible for preparing and serving meals using a variety of cooking methods such as frying, roasting, grilling, steaming, poaching, baking, and boiling. You will follow established menus and recipes to prepare food items for patients, residents, clients, cafeteria patrons, and catered events.
Your duties will include portioning and plating meals, ensuring food quality and presentation standards are met, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will also be responsible for adhering to all safety protocols and health regulations while contributing to a positive dining experience for those in our care.
