- State-of-the-art facilities: The new St. Paul’s Hospital and health campus will be the most innovative approach to the delivery of integrated care in B.C. and Canada, designed to appropriately address the future health needs of patients, families and our communities. From hospital care to primary and community health solutions, the new St. Paul’s Hospital and health campus will continue to lead innovations in care, research, and teaching. The new St. Paul’s Hospital is expected to open in 2027.

Your Day to Day:
- Constructs, repairs, and maintains woodwork, furniture, fittings, doors, and hardware.
- Installs and repairs structural and non-structural building components in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Performs minor roofing repairs, demolition activities, and general maintenance support.
- Installs acoustic ceilings, gypsum ceiling systems, steel stud framing, and gypsum wall assemblies.
- Reviews work requests and consults with departments to determine project requirements and specifications.
- Interprets blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete construction and renovation projects.
- Estimates material and labour requirements and provides recommendations for project planning.
- Coordinates project schedules and prepares required tools, materials, and equipment.
- Provides task direction, training, and orientation to designated staff.
- Maintains inventory records and recommends the purchase of supplies, tools, and equipment.
