The salary range for this position is CAD $35.36/Hr. - CAD $50.83/Hr.

The hours of work, including start and stop times, days off, work area and work site may be subject to change consistent with operations requirements and applicable provisions of the Collective Agreement and statutes. **Testing may be required. ***A criminal record check may be required

Supports the planning, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of client registration, identity management, and scheduling applications across the organization. Analyzes business needs, improves data quality and system integration, provides application support and troubleshooting, and develops user documentation to ensure efficient, standardized registration processes and accurate client data management.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in the area of Health Information Management/Technology, Science (Finance, Mathematics, etc.) or Business Administration, minimum of three (3) years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Skills and Abilities

• Comprehensive knowledge of policy and standards for client identity management and client registration data collection.
• Working knowledge of information security and confidentiality guidelines and policies such as the Freedom of Information and Protection and Privacy Act.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques, principles and practices.
• Understanding of systems analysis and design, related tools and techniques (e.g. data flow diagrams, etc.), and continuous quality improvement.
• Knowledge of hospital operations and health care administration requirements.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills including strong business writing skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a variety of audiences.
• Ability to analyze operational problems and identify innovative solutions.
• Ability to work effectively with people from various disciplines with varying degrees of functional and technical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage effective relationships with vendors and external organizations.
• Effective interpersonal and facilitation skills including the ability to work effectively with diverse user community.
• Ability to coordinate and lead work groups.
• Ability to manage own work activities to achieve maximum efficiency.

Your Day to Day:

• Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, use cases, business rules, and test plans.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions align with operational needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve registration issues and support process improvements across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health, CIHI, MIS, and organizational policies by implementing required system and process changes.
• Develop and maintain audit tools, reports, and data quality metrics to support accurate, secure patient registration and identity management.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance registration standards, data integrity, and operational efficiency.
• Provide application support, troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate with technical teams to resolve user incidents.
• Document workflows, business processes, system requirements, and user communications to support ongoing operations and project delivery.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute system testing activities, including integration, user acceptance, regression, and post-implementation reviews.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support enterprise registration, scheduling, and client identity management initiatives.
