* This position will cover 4 multi-sites as work sites: Central City, Burnaby Hospital, Surrey Memorial Hospital, Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgical Centre *
Reporting to the Regional Manager Coding & Information Systems and the Advance Meditech Expanse HIM Functional Team Lead, the Business Analyst supports the Advance Meditech Systems Application Support team to ensure their project deliverables are completed on time and consistent with the parameters of the project plan. The Business Analyst liaises with operations and technical teams to understand structures, policies, workflows and the business. Provides project management support and coordinates key project deliverables related to the operational workflows and systems including the development, maintenance and rolling out of new systems and enhancements. Creates workable solutions to address business problems. Supports testing; the development of training and implementation materials; and process definition and design. Establishes and maintains processes, policies, procedures and project control documentation. Monitors and evaluates process efficiency. Interacts with user groups and partners at all levels to gather and provide feedback and prepares reports and materials in support of project activities.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in the area of Health Information Science, Business Administration or equivalent plus a minimum three (3) years’ recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
