Summary

Could this be your opportunity to contribute to an iconic healthcare build?

This is a rare chance to take on a hands‑on role at the New St. Paul’s Hospital construction site—one of the most complex and high‑profile healthcare infrastructure projects in the province! We are seeking a highly organized, personable, and adaptable project professional to support day-to-day operations at our site trailers and help keep a fast-moving, multi-collaborator environment running smoothly.

Reporting to the New St. Paul’s Hospital Manager, Construction/Technical, you will:

  • Manage and coordinate all site administrative activities, from booking meetings and handling a high volume of communications, to ordering supplies and supporting the on-site admin team.
  • Be a key point of contact for site tours (through May 2026), welcoming guests and confidently speaking to the progress of the hospital (approachability and strong communication skills are essential.)
  • Work closely with our builder, PCL Construction, and engage daily with internal teams and external partners, gaining behind-the-scenes exposure to large-scale capital project delivery that few roles offer.
  • Attend meetings with external collaborators to support community and collaboration initiatives.
  • Lead and coordinate key project activities within an assigned portfolio and supporting project management functions (such as tracking deliverables, monitoring budgets, and overseeing specific project components.)
  • Assist with the analysis, documentation, prioritization, and alignment of project requests and requirements, while serving as a critical conduit of information between user groups, the project team, governance bodies, and external consultants.

As an integrated member of the New St. Paul’s team, you’ll demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and critical thinking, contributing collaboratively to project success. Experience or knowledge of construction technology and construction-related environments will be considered a valuable asset in navigating this complex, fast-paced setting.

This is a one-year full-time temporary role that offers exceptional learning, visibility, and professional growth within a complex, multidisciplinary environment. This assignment can be a strong gateway to future opportunities within BC healthcare organizations beyond the project.

If you thrive in coordination-heavy roles, enjoy working with technology and diverse teams, and are eager to learn within a one-of-a-kind project setting, this is an experience you won’t want to miss!
