Foundry transforms how young people in British Columbia access health and social services. Our province-wide network of community-based centres, online tools and resources use an approach to wellness that is collaborative, trustworthy, respectful, dynamic, responsive and approachable. Through this provincial initiative, we connect young people with the care and community resources they need to lead a healthy, balanced and fulfilling life.
The Manager, Foundry Works Program reports to the Leader, Program Implementation, is responsible for program management and oversight of the operations of Foundry Works projects and initiatives at local Foundry sites across the Province. Foundry Works is a supported employment and education program for youth who are interested in working, going to school, or completing a training program. This program utilizes the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model in the delivery of services. The Manager:
Education:
Graduation from a recognized Degree program in a Health Care or Social Sciences field plus five (5) recent, relevant experience in program management preferably within a health care or community social services environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Recent experience in youth and young adult mental health in community and/or hospital settings. Valid BC Driver's License and access to personal vehicle for business related purposes.
