IT Program Vision: To be a national healthcare reference centre for best practice information technology solutions that enable patients and families, clinical professionals, academics, and research partners to improve the patient care experience.
The Project Manager, Innovation is responsible for overseeing and supporting the planning, design, and technology system implementation of complex projects for the New St. Paul’s Hospital (NSPH) including project planning, project management, communications, and contract management. The role also has responsibility for the integration of planning and design with the IMIT and clinical business models to ensure that the delivery of health services meet the NSPH goals and objectives. This position provides leadership by directing work teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure accountability, communication, and performance.
In this position, you will be working on the New St Paul’s Hospital, IT Innovation projects and will report to Program Manager, Kyla Nichol. This position will join an exceptional, hardworking team. The overall IT Program is lead by an Executive Director, Jordan Pope who leads the team with a strong vision, team values and a wealth of hospital redevelopment expertise
Please note: This is a hybrid-role where the onsite office(s) will be the on the NSPH site and St. Paul’s Hospital office, located on Comox St. in downtown Vancouver. Regular on-site presence required 2-3 days a week. Closer to NSPH Opening Day, this role may require more than 2-3 days a week on-site at the New St. Paul’s Hospital 1002 Station Street location.
