Education
Grade 12 plus one year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Your Day to Day
Equipment & Supply Handling: Moves medical equipment and accessories (e.g., IV poles, oxygen tanks); disposes of used items and returns reusable equipment for reprocessing; ensures oxygen and suction supplies are available and functional.
Deceased Patient Transport: Transfers deceased patients respectfully to the morgue, logs required information, and uses appropriate lifting equipment to ensure safe handling.
Stocking & Cleanliness: Monitors and replenishes supplies; keeps storage areas, carts, and patient spaces clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
Delivery & Retrieval Tasks: Transports a wide range of items including medications, specimens, personal belongings, and medical records; locates and returns missing or misplaced equipment.
Clerical & Communication Support: Performs basic administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, arranging portering support, and operating office equipment like photocopiers and fax machines.
