St. Paul’s Hospital Medicine Department is inviting you to participate in our upcoming Virtual Hiring Fair for Registered Nurses (RNs) and Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs)!
This event will take place online on August 8th, 2025, between 13:00 and 16:30. During this event, you will get to meet and discuss with our Patient Care Managers and Clinical Nurse Educators. Successful candidates will receive an offer shortly after interviewing with our panel.
Within the context of a client and family centred model of care, and in accordance with the Mission, Vision, Values and strategic directions of Providence Health Care, the person promotes a safe, respectful, and civil working environment for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff.
Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, the Staff Nurse, assesses, identifies, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care required to assist patients/residents in meeting their physical, social, spiritual and psychological needs using an established framework for nursing practice. Develops, implements, evaluates and revises the plan of care. Incorporates individual and/or group teaching into the care plan and nursing interventions and/or makes referrals to other identified resources. Supports other nurses and health care professionals by collegially sharing information and demonstrating procedures. The Staff Nurse works within an interdisciplinary clinical framework in accordance with the BCCNM Standards and consistent with the mission, vision and values and established protocols of Providence Health Care.
Education:
You must be a registered nurse in Canada in good standing and be eligible for registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
