Summary
Reporting to the Site Operations Leader or designate and taking work direction from the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and in alignment with the creation of a vibrant community, the position is responsible for providing personal care to tenants such as delivering medications, grooming and hygiene related duties as established in the individualized Personal Service Plan. Performs light housekeeping, laundry and dietary duties, and provides support and encouragement to tenants. Develops respectful and positive relationships with tenants, which are supportive of their choices. Documents and/or reports concerns or unsafe situations, answers inquiries and participates in meetings.

Education
Grade 12, Home Support/Residential Care Attendant Certificate, Certificates in CPR, First Aid and Food Safe and successful completion of a medication management module for community health/residential care aides from an accredited educational institution or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
