Are you passionate about substance use research, education and care, and are you experienced in providing administrative and invoice management support to both leadership and teams? The British Columbia Centre on Substance Use (BCCSU) is seeking a Project Coordinator 2 to join our team and help coordinate webinars and conferences, invoice processing, as well as various administrative and education dissemination functions.
As a research centre of the Providence Health Care Research Institute and a University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine Centre, the BCCSU is at the forefront of substance use research, education, and care. We are committed to advancing substance use policies and care in BC by translating research into education and evidence-based care guidance. By supporting the collaborative development of evidence-based policies, guidelines and standards, BCCSU seeks to improve the integration of best practices and care across the continuum of substance use.
In this role, you will report to the Program Manager of Education and Implementation, and your responsibilities will include:
The coordination of various education team initiatives requires meaningful and respectful collaboration between internal and external working groups as well as hybrid-remote work. Please be advised that this work will require some travel to external conferences, seminars, and exhibits on the lower mainland and within the province on an ad-hoc basis.
