Skills and Abilities
Comprehensive knowledge of Nursing theory and practice within a patient/family centred model of care.
Strong knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and BCCNM standards.
Proficient in pathophysiology, pharmacology, and discharge planning.
Skilled in assessing medical appropriateness and resource utilization.
Familiar with clinical pathways, community resources, and interdisciplinary roles.
Effective in patient assessment, observation, and monitoring.
Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Proficient in computerized care systems.
Able to adapt, resolve conflicts, and make decisions.
Physically capable of performing job duties.
