Education:
Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
Skills and Abilities:
St. Paul’s Hospital (10D) *Acute : Palliative care focuses more on acute pain and symptom management needs. Many patients may go home after their time in palliative care or transfer to hospice or long-term care.
May’s Place (6 beds) *Sub-Acute : Downtown Eastside, where people have problems with mental health and substance abuse.
St. John’s Hospice (14 beds) *Sub-Acute Hospice care is intended for those who are going through their last days of life and are receiving care for end of life.
The first community hospice on Vancouver's West Side and is situated in a beautiful location on the University of British Columbia's campus.
