Your Day to Day:
- Coordinates nursing unit activities, including staff supervision, workload management, and problem-solving.
- Monitors patient/resident needs and staffing levels, adjusting assignments accordingly.
- Acts as a clinical resource, providing guidance and support to staff.
- Participates in patient assessments, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Facilitates consultations with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Provides direct nursing care and assists with orientation of new staff.
- Identifies and addresses staff learning needs, facilitating education sessions.
- Reviews and provides feedback on policies and procedures.
- Supports staff development through mentoring and conflict resolution.
- Participates in research initiatives and implements findings into practice.
